2022 IT Community Event

The Opening Session was held Monday, Nov. 7, 1 – 2:30 p.m. and the IT Community Awards Luncheon, Celebration and Closing Session on Thursday, Nov. 17, from12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Between these two events members of the IT community shared their knowledge and expertise about a wide range of topics through 25+ sessions. All of the sessions except for the closing event were held via Zoom. The closing event was in Hunt Library’s Duke Energy Hall. Go to the site to see recordings and resources from the sessions.

A Conversation on Digital Equity with MCNC CEO Tracy Doaks

Tracy Doaks, an NC State alumna, former state CIO and current CEO of MCNC, spoke and responded to questions about the work MCNC is doing to address digital equity in North Carolina and the importance of increasing and supporting individuals from underrepresented groups in STEM.

2021 IT Community Event

Nov. 2-11, 2021

The seventh annual series of workshops hosted by university IT professionals. The Opening Session was held Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. and will featured Chancellor Randy Woodson, CIO Marc Hoit, as well as recognized the nominees and recipients of the 2021 IT Community Awards. Many other sessions were offered by IT colleagues from across the university from Nov. 3 -11. 

2021 IT Community Awards

The third annual NC State IT Community Awards aimed to recognize teams and individuals that have made a significant collaborative impact within the IT Community. Nominees and recipients were recognized at the kickoff to the 2021 IT Community Event on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.

2020 IT Community Event

Nov. 10 -19, 2020
IT professionals from throughout the university came together to share information and discuss relevant topics.
The Opening Session was held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, followed by 22 sessions that presented by IT colleagues from throughout campus over a two-week period.
